Uni Table (Call for pricing)
Designed by Charlie Davidson, the Uni Table was the winning entry in the Going with the Grain competition hosted by Design21. The criteria for the competition was to design a piece of furniture from a single sheet of 1" thick Appleply, using no hardware, or the Alpha Connectors. It had to flat pack and assemble without tools, and must be manufacturable using CNC router technology only.
The competition was sponsored by Forest Stewardship Council (FSC-US) and The Nature Conservancy to raise awareness for FSC certified materials. EcoSystems sponsored the manufacturing of the winning designs to be auctioned at the Design for a Living World exibit. Two more prototypes were made, one for the winner, and one for EcoSystems.
This is a limited edition piece that can be made-to-order.
